In order to produce top quality components at competitive price levels, Silverplas has adopted and modified
the original Toyota Production System (TPS) to suit our production needs. Our customized production system is an
integrated approach to production which manages equipment, materials and people in the most efficient manner while
ensuring a healthy and safe working environment.

Just-In-Time
|
| |
|
The Just-In-Time production concept is the one of the foundation of the Silverplas process. This concept refers
to the manufacturing and conveyance of only what is needed, when it is needed, and in the amount needed. In addition,
a minimum amount of inventory is kept on hand. This enhances efficiency and allows quick response to change.

Jidoka
|
| |
|
The assurance of top quality for Silverplas's components is maintained through "Jidoka". This defect detection
system automatically or manually stops the production operation and/or equipment whenever an abnormal or defective
condition arises. Any necessary improvements or modifications can then be made by directing attention to the stopped
machine and/or equipment and the worker who stopped the operation. The "Jidoka" system shows faith in the worker as
a thinker and allows all workers the right to stop the production line on which they are working.

Kanban
|
| |
|
Silverplas's use of "Kanban" system, a unique information-carrying device ensures that every operation produces
only the amount of parts that will actually be used in the next step of the production process.

Kaizen
|
| |
|
"Kaizen" or continuous improvements, is the hallmark of our production system. The primary objectives are to identify
and eliminate "Muda", or unnecessary waste that does not add value to the products or services, in all area including
the production process. "Kaizen" also strives to ensure quality and safety. Its key elements emphasize on making a task
simpler and easier to perform, re-engineering processes to accommodate the physical demands on team members, increasing the
speed and efficiency of work process, maintaining a safe work environment, and constantly improving the product quality.
